Are you tired of being the scrawny kid on the block? Or maybe you just want to add some muscle mass to aid in your bodies ability to burn calories and help you achieve and maintain a lean physique. Is it a sport you are trying to excel in, or are you hitting another plateau in the gym?
Whatever your motivation is, we can help!
A Few Things to Consider When Your Goal is to Gain Muscle:

There is an overwhelming amount of information on weight gain and increasing muscle mass so BEWARE. Much of this information is BS! Years ago I asked someone who looked like they knew what they were doing how to gain more muscle. And his response was "just eat more carbs". And while that bit of advice may have a small place in the overall answer, I can assure you that "eating more carb's" alone will not get you the results you are looking for.

To be honest you have to approach this topic with a measure of patience. You must first be able to establish what it is you are after. I am truly tired of hearing people say that they want to add 10lbs. of muscle and get shredded at the same time. LOL, it is not possible without the use of "enhancement drugs". And anyone who is accomplishing this is either a super-human from another planet or has decided to take the cowards way out through chemicals.

Establishing your goals such as, increased power, size, or your ability to push yourself for extended periods of time is the first step.

Once that is determined you can start to build an exercise plan based on your needs. Keep in mind that the number of exercises you do, as well as the number of repetitions performed in each set will dictate your results so that is why it is so important to have a plan.

Next comes the most important part - nutrition.

This is where everything comes together; if you do not give your body the necessary building blocks to create the physique you desire then it simply will not happen.

Proteins, Fats, and Carbohydrates all play important rolls in your plan and understanding how the quality of the nutrient sources as well as timing play a crucial roll in realizing your potential.

Then of course there are supplements. People have gone crazy with all of the supplements on the market today. Many are not even tested by the FDA and yet they still shove these "magic pills and powders" into their bodies without ever really knowing what it is doing for/to them.  Sure there are some proven supplements that most definitely have a place in our kitchen cabinets, but lets not focus on those just yet.

Knowing how to build muscle and get the body you want is a science. Take the time to talk to the professionals that will take the time to show you the right way to build and maintain lean muscle.
